Can't access an electronic resource? Make sure your browser is up to date

Answer

You may experience problems using online Libraries licensed resources ( databases, electronic books (eBooks), or electronic journals (eJournals) ) because of your browser version, Adobe, or browser settings. You may have to update your browser, update your browser plugins, or update your versions of Adobe Reader. You may also have to allow pop-ups or otherwise adjust your browser settings to see all content.

Trouble with an electronic resource?

If you're having difficulty accessing a database, e-book, or electronic journal, try these steps before submitting a ticket:

  1. Review our troubleshooting suggestions for common access issues.
  2. Check the system status page to see if there's a known outage affecting library systems.

Still need help? Submit a ticket below.

We typically respond within one business day. To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:

  • The name of the resource you're trying to access
  • The URL where you encountered the problem
  • Any error messages you received
  • Your affiliation (undergraduate, graduate, faculty, staff, or community borrower)

If you're seeing an error screen, attaching a screenshot of the full browser window (including the URL bar) helps us diagnose the problem faster.

Do you need to report an accessibility issue with one of our electronic resources? For example, an article PDF does not meet WCAG guidelines or a video does not have captions. Submit an Accessibility Issue report.
