Can a visitor, someone with a visitor's card, request books from our collections?

Yes, they can request print books by using the login link on the Libraries’ website https://www.lib.purdue.edu/ , but they need to choose "Visitor Account" instead of Career Account. Then use the barcode number on the back of their visitor card and the password given to them at the time of getting the card, which they should change after getting the generic one (circservices can reset the password if needed). To enter visitor’s card barcode, add 4 zeros in front of the number, and 2 zeros following the number. Ex: if number on card is 751700, they would enter 000075170000.
