When I log into the Interlibrary Loan website, I receive a "Server Error in '/ILLiad' Application. Runtime error." How do I fix it?

You need to clear your browser's cache. You can clear your cache for just the Interlibrary Loan system (ILLiad) by doing a hard refresh. For Windows users, this can be accomplished by holding down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and clicking F5. For Mac users, holding down the Shift key on the keyboard and clicking the Reload button/icon  will work for most browsers (for Safari, you'll need to click Option + Command + E).

You can also start with a "clean browser" without clearing your cache by using the browser's "private browsing mode": Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Safari.  Incognito/private mode also has the benefit of removing any extensions that might be causing issues from the browser temporarily.

Important Note: Any bookmarked links to ILLiad should be changed to the following: https://go.lib.purdue.edu/ill. This permalink will ensure that any future changes to the URL will not cause issues with your attempts to login.
