How do I locate and share full-text materials?

Answer

Search the Catalog

  • Search the Libraries catalog by title or keyword.
  • Using the Filter My Results option on the left, select the "Available Online" located under "Show Only."

Library Search interface with arrow pointing to "Available Online" option under the Filter My Results section

Confirm Full Text Access

Once you've found an item you're interested in, click on the "Online access available" link to confirm that full-text is available. Please note that some materials may only be available in PDF format, including eBooks, which may not be accessible.

Share the Permalink

Be sure to use the permalink, not the link in your browser, to share materials with students. This will help ensure consistent access to the resource over time.

While Purdue Libraries prioritizes the selection of digital resources that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of specific digital materials because they are often created by other institutions or publishers.
