How do I access or read microforms?

Microform is a broad term that includes things like microfiche, microfilm, and microreels. This type of media requires special equipment to read, scan, save, or print. At the HSSE library, we have two readers and one machine that will allow you to read, scan, print, or save to USB.
If you have identified something in our collection that is available on microform, first request it through the catalog. List HSSE as the pick up location. Then, when the microform is ready for you, you will receive an email, and you can go to HSSE, check out the microform, and use one of the readers there.
