How do I request a book or an article from ILL (Interlibrary Loan)?

Purdue University Libraries Interlibrary Loan service supports the instructional, research, and scholarly activities of library patrons affiliated with Purdue by obtaining research materials not owned by the Purdue University Libraries. For more information about the ILL service and to submit requests visit https://www.lib.purdue.edu/services/interlibrary-loan. To request an article through ILL, start at the Interlibrary Loan webpage at: https://www.lib.purdue.edu/services/interlibrary-loan and click the Login to ILL button. You will need to login using your Purdue Career Account information. Once you've logged in, select an option below "New Request." Here you will fill in as much information as you can about the article you wish to receive. After you have filled in the form, submit your request. It takes an average of 3-5 business days to obtain articles and book chapter requests. You will receive an email when the article arrives and you will log back into the ILL page to retrieve your article electronically. If you request a book, you will need to pick it up at the circulation desk on the first floor HSSE library. You will receive an email with the necessary information. Any questions, please contact ILL directly at ill@purdue.edu or phone (765)494-2800.
