What does RESERVE mean when it is the book's location?

Reserve: 2 Hour Loan – These items can now leave the library where they are checked out, but must be returned to the circulation desk of the lending library. No reserve items can be kept overnight and all reserves must be returned before the lending library closes for the day. This is to ensure that everyone has reasonable access to the book. To locate a reserve book, go to the Libraries homepage and choose the "Course Reserves" tab. You can search by course, instructor, or department. Please take note of the LIBRARY the item is located at.
