Libraries employees: how to report equipment/computer issues

Answer

All IT Technical support requests should be routed through the IT Ticketing System (TDX) using one of the following options:

  1. Support Site - you can use the site to submit new requests, view your requests you have made for status updates, access the ever-expanding Knowledge Base (Find an Answer) and more. 

  2. Phone: 44000

  3. Email: it@purdue.edu

When submitting a request, please provide as much information as possible:

  • Mention you are ESS (Endpoint Support Services) Supported.

  • Your Computer Name. (You can find this under the “Computer” icon on your Desktop)

  • Your location (bldg./room).

  • Details about your request.

 

Exceptions to this include the Meescan self-checkout devices and the MRD5/Transact ID scanners attached (and individual devices used at circulation desks). Please submit a ticket to LibApps support for these devices.
