Can’t access an electronic resource? Clear your cache and search history or try incognito/private mode

Answer

If you can’t access a database, electronic book (eBook), or electronic journal (eJournal) online, try clearing your cache and search history. You can clear your cache for just the web site you're currently using by doing a hard refresh. Most browsers allow you to do this by holding down the Shift key on the keyboard and clicking on the reload iconbrowser refresh iconin the browser’s toolbar. You can also start with a "clean browser" without clearing your cache by using the browser's "private browsing mode": Chrome | Edge | Firefox | Safari.  Incognito/private mode also has the benefit of removing any extensions that might be causing issues from the browser temporarily.
